Two announcements relative to this Sunday's ministry: - We will be observing Communion as part of our Sunday morning worship. Please prepare your heart for this time of reflecting on and proclaiming Christ's death with fellow believers.
- Dave and Jean Hillman will be our special guests this Sunday morning. They serve in the local Gideon ministry--part of an international ministry of Bible distribution. Dave will be teaching the Gardiner Hall adult Sunday School hour. We encourage you to come and learn more about this exciting and growing work. An offering plate will be on the Ministry Resource Table for the Gideons (checks should be payable to "Gideons" not GHBC). Be sure to greet the Hillmans and find out more about Gideons International. We are thankful for Phil and Judy Smock who serve faithfully in the same organization.

Calling all Ladies! Hard to believe but we are scheduled to start our study again this Thursday, September 9th from 9:30-11:30 AM! The first 4 sessions will be the Justin Peters DVD series on the Word of Faith Movement. It was an incredible presentation our church covered this summer. We will begin the actual study on Matthew November 4th. The study will run through May 19th. It is not to late to plan on joining us! Please see Dianne Jackson if you need further information. |

Calling all Youth! Join us at Bethany Camp on September 24-25 for their annual Teen Extravaganza. There will be great times of worship, fun, food, and growth!
